Louisa Middle Girls Soccer Falls In The OVC Region Tournament

Grayson, Ky. — The Louisa Middle girls soccer team fell to Russell 5-1 in the quarterfinals of the OVC Region tournament Monday at East Carter. 

2025 Louisa Middle School Soccer 

Aubrey Brady, Khole Sams, Abigale Young, Allison Jackson, Izzy Canterbury, Jada Burchett, Addy Howard, Skyla Salyers, Harper Cline, Lelani Floyd, Laurie Vinson, Iralyn Jones, Kiersten Robinette, Addie Mae Moore, Liza Page, Ella Young, Aubree Howard, Briana Jenks, Kyra Hylton, Kenna Gillispie, Sophie Evans, Lizzie Mynhier, Kayden Fannin, Realyn Cyrus, Lynn Pigg, Kacean Melvin, Natalee West, Jemma Akers, Kynleigh Maynard, Josie Hinkle 

The Bulldogs finished the season 8-2 with wins over Greenup County, East Carter, Boyd County, Johnson Central and Adams. 

In the OVC Region loss Addy Howard scored the lone goal against Russell. 

Addy Howard and Briana Janka made the OVC All-Tournament Team.

The Dawgs took care of Greenup County 5-0 on 8th grade night.

“…I’m so proud of this team and how they have grown this season. I have coached some of our 8th graders for 5 years and they have become not only wonderful players but leaders to their teammates. We had a great season and the grit and determination these girls have will take them far.”
