Pickup wreck on Rt. 32 claims life of popular Louisa resident
LOUISA, Ky. — A member of a well known Lawrence County family lost his life in a one vehicle wreck about two miles from Louisa on Rt. 32 Wednesday morning.
Jason Daniels, 34, ran off the road in his late model pickup truck and was pronounced dead at the scene by Lawrence County Deputy Coroner Chris Wilson at 10:17am. Wilson said his investigation is continuing but he cannot release any additional information until later today.
According to witnesses at the scene there were no skid marks or brake residue on the road where Daniels’ vehicle veered into a culvert. Daniels, the father of two children was ejected from the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt.
An official police report is forthcoming by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dept. with further details about the tragic accident. The Lazer will issue a report as soon as the information is available.

Fatal Accident November 1, 2017 Highway 32
On November 1st, 2017 at approximately 9:45 am Lawrence County 911
received a call of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 32 in the area of
Pearl Lane. Upon arrival it was found that Jason Daniels, 34, of Louisa was traveling West bound on Highway 32 in a 1998 Chevrolet Pickup.
Daniels lost control and went off the right side of the roadway striking a concrete culvert head wall before impacting an embankment. Daniels was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The accident is under investigation by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office with Sgt. Chuck Jackson being the investigating officer.
Assisting at the scene was the Louisa Fire Dept, Netcare Ambulance,
Kentucky State Police and the Lawrence County Coroner’s Office.
