Louisa, Ky Lawrence County Softball team finishes regular season with 18-12 record

Ashland 5 Lawrence Co. 1 ( Friday ) 
In the final regular season game of the 2026 season the Tomcats scored four runs in the fifth inning and held on for the victory in Louisa. 
Taylor Blevins went the distance in the circle, allowed five hits, four earned runs, struck out nine and walked three in her final home start of her illustrious career. 
 
 
Emalynn Kitts hit her sixth homer of the season Jada Patton singled twice. 
Lawrence Co. 12 Magoffin Co. 1 ( Thursday ) 
Taylor with dad/coach Harry, LC head coach Sam Sparks and Hornets head coach Tony Skaggs after earning her 100th career pitching victory.
Senior Taylor Blevins recorded her 100th pitching victory in a road win over the Hornets. 
Blevins went five innings, allowed two hits and struck out ten. On offense she had two hits and one RBI. 
Brinley Baisden had three hits, two runs batted in and scored twice, Jada Patton had two hits, drove in one and scored twice, Addalyn Woods doubled, scored a run and had one RBI, Ella Smith doubled and scored two runs, Emalynn Kitts singled and scored two runs, Lexi Crum singled and drove in two runs, Aleaha Gillispie singled, Millie Sammons singled and drove in one, Anna Compton scored two runs, Baleigh Blackburn scored a run. 
Symmes Valley 4 Lawrence Co. 2 ( Tuesday ) 
The Bulldogs traveled to Willow Wood Ohio and lost a nail biter to a good Symmes Valley squad. 
Addalyn Woods doubled and scored a run, Emalynn Kitts and Aleaha Gillispie singled and drove in a run each, Brinley Baisden scored a run. 
Brinley Baisden started in the circle and went four 1/3 innings allowed four runs, five hits and struck out three. Braylee Triplett went one and 2/3 innings and walked one batter. 
Lawrence Co. 3 Boyd Co. 1 ( Monday ) 
Jada Patton hit a three run homer in the fifth inning to break a scoreless tie and the Dawgs upended the Lions in Louisa. 
Taylor Blevins pitched a gem in the circle going seven innings, allowed six hits, no earned runs and struck out two Lions. 
Brinley Baisden had two hits, Addalyn Woods doubled and scored a run, Lexi Crum singled and Kyla Bragg scored a run. 
58th District Tournament will be held at Betsy Layne High School 
The Bulldogs will be the #1 seed and play #4 seed Prestonsburg at 6:00 on Monday. 
The second game will be #2 seed Floyd Central vs #3 seed Betsy Layne at 7:30.
The title game is slated for 5:30 on Tuesday evening.
