March 28, 1940 — February 23, 2025

Lorna M. Sprouse, 84, of Webbville, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Lorna was born March 28, 1940 in Louisa, KY to the late William Francis and Minerva Adkins.

Lorna was a homemaker and a member of Marion Anthem Church of Webbville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Charles “J.C.” Sprouse; sisters Loretta Fannin, Karen Adams, and Martha Ross; and brothers George Adkins, Wayne Adkins, Johnny Adkins, and Timmy Adkins.

Survivors include her children Deborah (Harold) Young of Webbville, KY, Patty (Jerry) Wright of Catlettsburg, KY, Jonda Elkins of Huntington, WV, Jerry Wilks of Webbville, KY and Kathy Wilks of Ashland, KY; 19 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brother Douglas (Shirley) Adkins of Newark, OH; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Webb Chapel Community Church with Brother Gerald Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 11:00 AM until time of service at Webb Chapel Community Church.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Sprouse and her family.
