Crum, W. Va. — Members of the OnPoint Swish women’s professional team put on a basketball camp at Crum K-8 for the area youth.

OnPoint Swish players Dena Jarrells and Courtney Gillman-Fletcher and Assistant Coach Tammy Jarrells hosted 20 boys and girls for a day camp recently.

The camp was announced on short notice but still had a really good group that was ready to learn.

“… It means a lot to me to give back. We would have had more kids if not for vacation and some other things going on. It was great to be back at Crum and to see the kids come out it really was a fun time. Crum area will always be home even though I’m eight hours away I will always come back. Hopefully we can do this a couple of times next year and make it even bigger.”

“… I enjoy being around the kids and they were so receptive of what we were asking them to do. Having Courtney and my mom here helping was special to me. When I was at Tolsia me and Courtney butted heads a few times but she taught me so much and I can’t thank both of them enough for pushing me.”
