Linda Abshire Shannon, 83, passed away on June 28th at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort after a brief battle with congestive heart failure and a stroke. Linda will be greatly missed by her extensive family and friends. She loved and touched many lives during her time on this Earth. She is now with her Lord and Savior. She is currently singing for the Lord and is blind no more. She can hear, see, her mind and body are whole again. We rejoice for our mother as we cry for ourselves.

She attended Isaac Park Church while raising her family, Charley Freewill Baptist Church when she could, and watched/listen to Paster Arnold Murray Shepherd’s Chapel.

…Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. –Amen
