LOUISA, Ky. — On Friday, October 6, Mark Grayson and myself (along with Susan Salyer & ‘Max’) had the pleasure of spending the majority of day with a TV production crew who came to interview Mark and I as part of the documentary series that will premiere in either January or February of 2024 on the Oxygen Network, which is part of the NBC-Universal media corporation.
The 18 part series will cover the investigations in murder cases where the defendant claims self defense, one of which will be the Woodrow “Woody” Six killing of Rodney Stepp in Martin County in 2017 of which The Lazer covered.
I can honestly say it was a blast, (even though they said my polarized black shaded prescription glasses made me look suspicious on camera, and they are correct, because that is why I wear them. For their spooky effects on the public).
Both Mark and myself were interviewed for about an hour apiece, for which Mark said we would be lucky to get a minute each in the show. Mark was interviewed inside his home, while I was interviewed outside on Mark’s porch deck.
GLASS MEDIA PRODUCERS TAYLOR GIPE (LEFT) & ROCKI ALT (RIGHT) WITH MARK GRAYSON’S SIDEKICK ‘MAX’ (TALK ABOUT AN ACTUAL LUCKY DOG INDEED!!!). BOTH ROCKI AND TAYLOR HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE HAVING PRODUCED SHOWS FOR ANIMAL PLANET, THE BACHELOR, ANF 90 DAY FIANCE’ AMONG SEVERAL OTHERS.
We would like to especially extend our thanks to co-executive producer Rocki Alt and associate producer Taylor Gipe of Glass Media Group, from the Philadelphia – New York City area, for their efforts with the both of us. There were a total of eight people in the TV crew, the majority of whom were contract persons from Cincinnati, Ohio and Lexington, KY. (one dude left early to go eat or something, do not know of his name anyway, so we only got the group photo of the remaining seven taken with me and Mark).
We hope to know in the next several weeks exactly when our episode will air early next year. When we do, we will let everybody know for sure.
