Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence Co. Junior softball Star Dani Crum was recently named 15th Region Co-Player of the year by Kentucky Prep.
Crum will participate in the Kentucky Prep East/West All-Star series June 16-18 at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg Kentucky.
Crum helped the Dawgs to a 27-13 record this past season including another District Championship before falling in the 15th Region Championship game to Johnson Central. Crum hit .509 belted 7 home runs, drove in 48 runs and stole 49 bases.
Crum was co-player of the year with Johnson Central sophomore Mayson Delong.
Johnson Central Head Coach Philip Estep was named 15th region coach of the year.
