DISCUSSION OF FORMATION OF CLASSIC LITERATURE COMMITTEE (Requested by Lindsay Smith)

LCPL Board Of Trustees President Lindsay Smith started off the discussion by handing out the following:

This letter informs the Board of Trustees on the problems with ordering books and gathering materials for the Homeschool Teachers. The census of the room was that there are not enough book selections at LCPL, so they often go to surrounding county libraries to gather books needed or buy books.

This committee if started, will help Homeschool Teachers have more access to books at Lawrence County Public Library, board president  Lindsay Smith said. She had 3 Homeschool Teachers present at the meeting to discuss the problems that they have with the selection of books at LCPL. This was just a discussion.
