Prestonsburg, Ky. — The Lawrence County Girls Varsity Soccer team went undefeated for the second straight time in the Preseason Mountain Soccerama at Stonecrest Sports Park.
In Varsity action the SoccerDawgs beat Pikeville, South Laurel and Greenup County and played to a draw against Belfry.
Sophomore Addy Howard led the team with 4 goals, Sophomore Harper Cline tallied 3 goals, Senior Kendyl Webb chipped in with 2 goals, Sophomore Lizzie Mynhier had 2 goals including a Olimpico which is a corner kick that goes straight in the goal, Senior Dakota Thornsbury and 7th Grader Irelyn Jones had one goal each.
The Junior Varsity team went 2-0 on Saturday afternoon with wins over South Laurel and host Prestonsburg.
The Bulldogs will kickoff the regular season at home versus Boyd County at 6:00 on Tuesday August 11th.

“ …The girls played amazing today! From defenders locking down the back line to the midfielders controlling the center, we left it all on the field only allowing 3 total goals while scoring 13 total. This is going to be another great season to witness some amazing soccer with the Lawrence County Lady Bulldogs!!!”
