Prestonsburg, Ky. — The Lawrence County Girls Soccer team went 3-1 in the Preseason Mountain Soccerama at Stonecrest Sports Park on Saturday.

In Varsity action the SoccerDawgs went 3-1 scoring 13 goals and only allowed 3.
Sophomore Addy Howard led the team with 4 goals, Sophomore Harper Cline tallied 3 goals, Senior Kendyl Webb chipped in with 2 goals, Sophomore Lizzie Mynhier had 2 goals including a Olimpico which is a corner kick that goes straight in the goal, Senior Dakota Thornsbury and Irelyn Jones had one goal each.
The Junior Varsity team went 2-0 on Saturday afternoon going undefeated in the same event last season.

“ …The girls played amazing today! From defenders locking down the back line to the midfielders controlling the center, we left it all on the field only allowing 3 total goals while scoring 13 total. This is going to be another great season to witness some amazing soccer with the Lawrence County Lady Bulldogs!!!”
