On June 18, 2024 The Lawrence County Fiscal Court had a Regular Meeting at the Lawrence County Courthouse, 122 S. Main Cross Street, Louisa, Kentucky 41230 at 10AM. LC Judge Executive Phil Carter was in attendance along with LC Magistrates David Pinson, Rick Blackburn, Michael ‘Mouse’ Halcomb and John Scaggs.

APPROVE MINUTES
The LC Fiscal Court unanimously approved the Minutes from Special Meeting on May 16, 2024. Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by David Pinson.

APPROVE TREASURERS REPORT
The Treasurers report was unanimously passed with a Motion by John Scaggs 2nd by Michael Mouse Halcomb. See Lazer video of Treasurer Josh Puckett.

APPROVE TREASURERS REQUEST
Motion by David Pinson 2nd by Rick Blackburn to approve Treasurers Report unanimously. See Lazer video

APPROVE BILLS
Bills were approved unanimously with a Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by Michael Mouse Halcomb. No discussion

OPENING OF BIDS
Bids  for pipe and other items were won by Big Sandy Resources with the low bid on all items. Bids were opened by magistrates and read aloud. All Bids were accepted and a Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by Michael Mouse Halcomb were made. SEE LAZER VIDEO.

SET SALARIES
Salaries were approved unanimously with a Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by David Pinson. No Discussion nor copy was made available..

ROAD AID FUND
Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by David Pinson to unanimously accept the Road Aid Fund. No Discussion. See Lazer video

RIGHT OF WAY STEEL BRANCH AND CLAYTON LANE
Motion was made to set aside until next month’s meeting by Rick Blackburn 2nd by Michael Mouse Halcomb. Advertising has to take place in order to complete the right of way.

SECOND READING OF 911 RATE ORDINANCE
Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by Michael Mouse Halcomb. No discussion

SECOND READING OF FY 2024-2025 BUDGET
Puckett advised the court there are no changes from last year’s budget. Motion by David Pinson 2nd by Rick Blackburn. No discussion, no copy available.

DONATION TO KENTUCKY BOYS AND GIRLS RANCH
$500 was donated to the Kentucky Boys and Girls Ranch with a Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by Michael Mouse Halcomb. None Opposed

DONATION TO FOURTH OF JULY COMMITTEE
$1,000 was donated to the Fourth of July Committee with a Motion by David Pinson 2nd by John Scaggs. None Opposed.
