Louisa, Ky. — Even though it was a week later than first advertised, the Louisa Annual Christmas parade through downtown Louisa on Saturday night was one of the best ones yet.

The parade featured veterans, firetrucks, Santa and Mrs. Claus, area businesses, political figures, police cruisers, the Grinch and others and finished at the Main Street park with hot cocoa and cookies while mingling. (See video)

…From Mayor Slone
“…Tonight’s Christmas Parade and activities in the park were truly a special success, and I want to sincerely thank everyone who helped make it happen. Hundreds of people filled our streets and park, and the smiles on our children’s faces as they visited with Santa were priceless. Adults enjoyed the festive music from the four-piece brass band, while our local churches kept everyone warm with hot chocolate throughout the evening. This is what community looks like—neighbors coming together to create memories, joy, and holiday spirit. Thank you all for making Louisa shine tonight.”
