Lawrence County Fiscal Court, Lawrence County Judge Executive, and Lawrence County Solid Waste is participating in the Dell Technologies and Microsoft Erase E-waste Sweepstakes, and we need your help! We have pledged to recycle used consumer electronics for a chance to win incredible technology solutions, valued at $50,000.
Please safely drop off used household electronics of any brand in any condition (printers, monitors, keyboards, cables, towers/hard drives, laptops, and any computer related household electronic) to the Lawrence Community Center at 180 Bulldog Lane across from the Lawrence County High School. At the end of the drive, we will take the above items to our local Goodwill located at 102 Blairs Way, #100, Louisa, Kentucky and help our institution, our community, and the planet!
The electronic waste problem is huge: more than 53 million tons of e-waste is generated globally every year and only 17% is responsibly recycled. When electronics end up in landfills, toxins like lead, mercury and cadmium can leach into the soil and water. We appreciate your help as we erase e-waste with Dell Technologies!
