COACH’S COMMENTS

“… The first inning set the tone for us, Taylor Blevins has been a warrior her whole career and then Emalynn Kitts hits a two run homer. I’m not sure how many hits we ended up with but we hit a bunch of balls hard. Even the outs were tough outs, We had a chance to put them away a couple of times. Proud of our kids, very resilient group and happy they will get to represent this part of the state in Owensboro.”

“… We moved Addalyn Woods down a little in the lineup and boy was it good to see her get going tonight with a home run and a double. I knew it was just a matter of time before she broke loose. Glad to get her going. I thought our defense was better tonight other than one play. Big play from Kitts on the base hit to right field for her to gun her out at first base and keep the leadoff hitter off the bases.”

“… Both teams will be a good test for us on Saturday. We may get some other girls in the circle to get them some work. Should be good weather and we will go down and play two games against good competition.”
