COACH’S COMMENTS

“… I thought our girls really stepped up against two really good teams at the Valley of Thunder in Symmes Valley. We had timely hitting good pitching. Taylor Blevins threw a gem vs a very good Western Brown team and Emalynn Kitts had 2 big hits vs a top notch pitcher.”

“… Monday we played a very good Greenup County team and after a slow start we battled with them and had some chances in the middle innings to tighten it up. GC had a D-1 quality pitcher and that will help us as we progress toward post season.”

“… Started slow against Lewis County. Taylor Blevins pitching kept us in the game and then our bats came alive late and we scored some runs when needed.”

“…/ All of these past few games have put us in different pressure situations that will help us down the road.”
