With the continued hot temperatures, the following cooling centers are now open and available to the public:
Louisa First Baptist Church
301 West Pike Street
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday,
8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Fallsburg Community Center
Blaine Community Center
Lawrence County Community Center
(Located across from Lawrence County High School)
The three community centers listed above will remain open until further notice.
For additional information, please contact the Judge’s office 606-638-4102.
Transportation assistance can also be provided for individuals who are unable to travel to a cooling center on their own.
