4.A.1. The Lawrence County Boys’ and Girls’ basketball teams are competing in the 58th District Tournament this week.
4.A.2. Dr. Fletcher, Dr. Webb, and Mr. Hall attended the Urban Schools Human Capital Academy Virtual Conference this week. (16 states represented)
4.A.3. Central office staff members are moving forward with a “Grow Your Own” Teacher program that includes an Educators Rising Club.
4.A.4. HB 563 will have major changes for all schools, if signed into law.
4.A.5. HB 208 was signed into law by the Governor this week; it limits the number NTI days for the remainder of the school year and has other impacts.
4.A.6. SB 128 will have changes for students that will require Board action, if signed into law.
4.A.7. We are still gathering information of the Yatesville Church Property.

Bidding the grass mowing is just a formality. We all know who will get it and why. I educate the public on this every chance I get. It’s not right and it is corrupt business.
