4.A. Superintendent’s Update
4.A.1. Superintendent Fletcher asked to serve on the School Funding Task Force with state legislators.
4.A.2. Superintendent Fletcher attends the first meeting of the HB563 Task Force created by KASA/KASS.
4.A.3. Superintendent Fletcher has participated in three meetings of the Kentucky Coalition for Advancing Education under the direction of the Commissioner of Education.
4.A.4. Lawrence County Schools have been invited to participate in the Kentucky Innovative Learning Network and the Local Laboratories of Learning.
4.A.5. Approximately one quarter of the students of Lawrence County participate in summer school with over 120 credits earned at Lawrence County High School.
4.A.6. The Lawrence County Senior Class of 2021 earned over 850 hours college credit.
4.A.7. Lawrence County Schools were unable to receive any of the $127 million dollars distributed through the SFCC due to our lack of implementing the nickel tax.

Forget the nickel tax, Lawrence County is a welfare county. Find another way to do things like other counties. Truth in all dealings
