They need to read the reports about the injury rate on the different types of turf. Several NFL players have filed a law suit stating that certain turf causes more injuries and higher degrees of injury. May be something to look into before hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars are spent.
You had Mr Burns go with you to look at turf fields. What a flipping joke. He hasn’t a clue and by the way, how did you get him to get his lazy a$$ out if his chair to go. You would be wise to get rid of him when his uncle decides to give it up. Only reason he’s there anyway.
Can someone explain to me how the board can spend a big amount of money on a softball facility and turf for the football? In the meantime want to add a dime tax to build a new grade school. Has someone got their priorities mixes up. No matter where the money comes from or how it has to be spent seems odd. Very poor timing Mr. Fletcher and board.
If you understood how things work in the real world, you would know that certain monies are earmarked for certain use and can only be used for the project designated.
But someone earmarked the money
I’m going to agree with KAG here. This all seems really crazy! It’s a massive wish list every year seems like but how are test scores? Education truly matters here. Extra curricular activities such as sports helps but the mind is truly what needs the condition training. We are taxed to death as it is! Take some of the over taxed library funds and put it to use here for your wish lists instead of adding more to the backs of the citizens! Pay the teachers more first and foremost then worry about other things! I agree with anything KAG has to say about these matters for sure!
