4.A. Superintendent’s Update
4.A.1. Central office and high school administration are working on a partnership with the City of Louisa leadership to add a fire safety pathway that will allow for 4 dual credit classes as well as the potential for EMT certifications.
4.A.2. The Portrait of a Graduate for Lawrence County Schools was developed with input from several groups within our community.
4.A.3. Dr. Fletcher, Mr. Burns, and Mr. Blackburn met with local officials and state officials concerning the change in the traffic pattern in Louisa.
4.A.4. School officials met with CMTA to review final touches on the LAVEC building design.
4.A.5. The LCHS baseball team won the 2A Sectional Championship and will head back to Owensboro for the state tournament later in the week.
4.A.6. Blaine, Fallsburg, and Louisa Middle 8th grade students participated in a reality fair and Bridge Day prior to spring break. Several community partners participated.
4.A.7. Softball and turf projects have progressed nicely in recent weeks.
4.A.8. Mrs. Gauze is collecting end-of-the-year calendars of events for Board members and for additional distribution to our community.
