ARRESTS DOWN BY HALF THEIR WEEKLY AVERAGE IN BOTH LAWRENCE COUNTY AND THE NEIGHBORING COUNTIES THAT USE THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE.
SEVEN PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY; ANOTHER 4 LOUISA RESIDENTS IN KENTUCKY COUNTIES ( 2 IN BOYD COUNTY, ONE IN POWELL COUNTY, AND ONE IN LINCOLN COUNTY).
Michael L. Maynard, 36, of Louisa, was arrested on October 25, 2017, at 12:05 A.M., by trooper Bryan Layne of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Sherry Bowen, 31, of Louisa, was arrested on October 26, 2017, at 7:01 P.M., by sergeant Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE, (METHAMPHETAMINE), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
Mason Master, 21, of Louisa, was arrested on October 27, 2017, at 12:50 A.M., by deputy Dwayne Bowen of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Amy Chandler, 35, of Louisa, was arrested on October 27, 2017, at 1:57 P.M., by sergeant Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL), • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.
