In the first 8 days of the month October, from 12:01 A.M. October 1 thru to 11:59 P.M. October 8, there were at least 96 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 96, 7 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
That is in comparison to the previous 6+ day period from 4:17 P.M. September 24 to to 11:59 P.M. September 30, there were at least 73 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 73, 8 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
Also,9 Lawrence County residents were arrested in neighboring border counties (4 in Boyd County, 2 in Johnson County, and 3 in Martin County). That is compared to 4 in the arrest report last week.
