KENTUCKY STATE POLICE POST 14 ASHLAND TROOPERS MAKE MAJORITY OF THE LOCAL ARRESTS.

FROM 1:00 A.M., NOVEMBER 10, 2024, THRU TO 11:59 P.M., NOVEMBER 30, 2024, (~24 DAYS); AT LEAST 133 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES, AND OTHER COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY., IN JOHNSON COUNTY.

OUT OF THOSE 133 ARRESTS, 26 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

 

 

SEPARATELY, THERE WERE TWO (4) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN A NEIGHBORING COUNTY. TWO (2) IN CARTER COUNTY, ONE (1) IN JOHNSON COUNTY, AND ONE (1) IN PIKE COUNTY.

 

THE NUMBER OF INMATES THAT WERE BEING HOUSED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY, IN JOHNSON COUNTY, ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, AT 12:00 P.M., WAS 195. THE MAXIMUM DESIGNATED CAPACITY OF THE BSRDC FACILITY IS 225.

 

PREVIOUSLY; FROM 12:00 A.M., NOVEMBER 1, 2024, THRU TO 1:00 A.M., NOVEMBER 10, 2024, (9 DAYS); AT LEAST 64 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES, AND OTHER COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY., IN JOHNSON COUNTY.

 

OUT OF THOSE 64 ARRESTS, 19 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

SEPARATELY, THERE WERE TWO (4) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN A NEIGHBORING COUNTY. TWO (2) IN MARTIN COUNTY, AND TWO (2) IN JOHNSON COUNTY).

 

THE NUMBER OF INMATES THAT WERE BEING HOUSED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY, IN JOHNSON COUNTY, ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10, AT 4:00 P.M., WAS 205. THE MAXIMUM DESIGNATED CAPACITY OF THE BSRDC FACILITY IS 225.

 

HERE THE RECENT ARREST FOR LAWRENCE COUNTY AND LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES:

Gary Lee Clay, 64, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 14, 2024, at 5:42 P.M., by trooper William Galloway of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • INADEQUATE SILENCER (MUFFLER), • CULTIVATE IN MARIJUANA (5 PLANTS OR MORE) 1ST OFFENSE,  • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1D) – 1ST  OFFENSE.
Gary Lee Clay was booked at the BSRDC in Paintsville, where his bond was set at $2000.
Samantha J. Johnson, 33, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 14, 2024, at 8:32 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Samantha Johnson was booked at the BSRDC in Paintsville, where her bond was set at $500.
Steven Wayne Blackburn, 25, of Louisa, Kentucky, was taken into custody by the Lawrence County Sheriff Office on November 15, 2024, at 6:20 P.M., to serve a guilty plea jail sentence, ‘weekender’: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
Robin L. Ferrell, 38, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 15, 2024, at 7:37 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT CARD $1,000 < $10,000.

Nate Aarron Webb, 29, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 18, 2024, at 11:17 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • INSUFFICIENT HEAD LAMPS, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, *OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL .08 (189A.010(1A) – 1ST OFFENSE, • POSSESSION OF OPEN ALCOHOL BEVERAGE CONTAINER IN MOTOR VEHICLE PROHIBITED, • POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA,

Keith Anthony Penix, 33, of Grayson, Kentucky; was arrested on November 19, 2024, at 5:56 P.M., by Chief Deputy Mason Keefer of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • SERVING TWO BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT, • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE), • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER I

Keith Penix was booked at the BSRDC in Paintsville, where he currently remains incarcerated as his bond was set at $110,750 full cash.

Brianna Osborne-Maynard, 31, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 20, 2024, at 1:36 A.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN), • TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE, • ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A MINOR, • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS         

Lowell Justin Maynard, 38, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 20, 2024, at 3:10 A.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Lowell Maynard was booked at the BSRDC in Paintsville, where his bond was set at $1000.

Zachary D. Jones, 38, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on November 20, 2024, at 12:20 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Homer R. Mills-Maynard, 36, of UNKNOWN, Kentucky; was arrested on November 20, 2024, at 12:20 P.M., by sergeant Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER, • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING.

Homer Mills-Maynard was booked at the BSRDC in Paintsville, where he currently remains incarcerated as his bond was set at $400 full cash.

Nathaniel Dean Slone, 38, of Lowmansville, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County, KY., on November 20,2024, at 7:40 P.M.,by patrolman officer Justin Jackson of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with: • PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

Robert Ray Whitt, 64, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 14, 2024, at 9:34 P.M., by trooper Cristin Mitchell of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • NON-PAYMENT OF COURT COSTS, FEES OR FINES (FOUR SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS).

Jimmy Dale Robins, 41, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested initially in Casey County, Kentucky on November 18, 2024 at 9:26 AM., by the Casey County Sheriff Office, for the charge of: • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL); was brought back to the BSRDC in Paintsville in Johnson County, on November 20, 2024, at 12:20 P.M., on outstanding warrants from Lawrence County, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR, • PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE)-[TWO SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS].

Steven Wayne Blackburn, 25, of Louisa, Kentucky, was taken into custody by the Lawrence County Sheriff Office on November 22, 2024, at 6:00 P.M., to serve a guilty plea jail sentence, ‘weekender’: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Corielynne Ervin, 45, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on November 23,2024, at 12:41 A.M., by trooper Jacob McDaniell of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),  • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED, • POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, • ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A MINOR          

Danvontay M. Brumfield, 29, of Columbus, Ohio; was arrested on November 23, 2024, at 8:22 P.M., by trooper Austin Castle of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL .08 (189A.010(1A) – 2ND OFFENSE,  • OBSTRUCTED VISION AND/OR WINDSHIELD, • POSSESSION OF OPEN ALCOHOL BEVERAGE CONTAINER IN MOTOR VEHICLE PROHIBITED,  • INADEQUATE SILENCER (MUFFLER).

 

Danvontay Brumfield was booked at the BSRDC in Paintsville, and as his bond was set at $1000 full cash.

Jonie Marie West-Collinsworth, 48, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 24, 2024, at 6:35 P.M., by trooper Chase Coverdale of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE  • LICENSE TO BE IN POSSESSION,  • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS  • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, • FAILURE TO APPEAR (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS), • NON-PAYMENT OF COURT COSTS, FEES OR FINES      

Jasmine D. Hale, 22, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 24, 2024, at 11:55 P.M., by trooper Jacob McDaniell of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • ONE HEADLIGHT, • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE  • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1C) – 2ND OFFENSE.

Louis Pack, 69, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on November 25, 2024, at 7:13 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO USE CHILD RESTRAINT DEVICE IN VEHICLE, • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A MINOR, • IMPROPER DISPLAY OF REGISTRATION PLATES, • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1C) – 1ST OFFENSE.

Louis Pack was booked at the BSRDC in Paintsville, and as his bond was set at $1000 full cash.

Homer Robert Hale Jr., 44, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 26, 2024, at 11:44 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Joseph Monroe Muncy, 40, of Ulysses, Kentucky; was arrested on November 27, 2024, at 2:49 P.M., by an UNKNOWN LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY, and was charged with: CHARGES UNKNOWN.

Anthony Chapman, 52, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 27, 2024, at 4:23 P.M., by trooper Zachary Wright of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Darielle Lynn Chapman, 42, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 27, 2024, at 4:35 P.M., by trooper Zachary Wright of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • NO OPERATORS-MOPED LICENSE, • OPER MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1D) – 1ST OFFENSE  • FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE, • NO REGISTRATION PLATES,  • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • INADEQUATE SILENCER (MUFFLER), • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT  .

Cody Layne Maynard, 21, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested initially in Boyd County, Kentucky; by the Boyd County Sheriff Office, and was brought subsequently back to the BSRDC in Paintsville in Johnson County, on November 27, 2024, at 4:36 P.M., on outstanding warrants from Lawrence County, for which he was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR, • ARSON, 3RD DEGREE.

 
Cody Maynard was booked at the BSRDC in Paintsville, where he currently remains incarcerated, as his bond was set at $5500 full cash

Ricki Leanndra Kimbler, 36, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 27, 2024, at 9:39 P.M., by trooper Chase Coverdale of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • Non-payment Of Court Costs, Fees Or Fines, • DRIVING TOO SLOW FOR TRAFFIC CONDITIONS/MINIMUM SPEED, • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1D) – 1ST OFFENSE, • RECKLESS DRIVING.

Ricki Kimbler was booked at the BSRDC in Paintsville, and her bond was set at $1500 full cash.

Cassandra Elaine Robertson-Arthur, 54, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 30, 2024, at 12:47 A.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • MENACING, • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).

Lisa M. Schaeffer, 61, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on November 30, 2024, at 2:22 A.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO OR IMPROPER SIGNAL,  • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL (189A.010(1B) – 1ST OFFENSE.

John Burchett, 44, of 1500 Morgans Creek Road, Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Carter County, Kentucky; by the Grayson Police Department, on November 28, 2024, at 12:15 A.M., and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS).
