SEPARATELY, THERE WERE FIVE (5) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN OTHER KY. COUNTIES (ONE (1) IN MARTIN COUNTY,ONE (1) CARTER COUNTY, AND THREE (3) IN JOHNSON COUNTY).
PREVIOUSLY; FROM 12:00 A.M., JUNE 1,2023, THRU TO 11:59 P.M.,JUNE 14,2023, (14 DAYS); AT LEAST 132 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES, & OTHER COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY., IN JOHNSON COUNTY. OUT OF THOSE 132 ARRESTS, 28 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. SEPARATELY, THERE WERE FOUR (4) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN OTHER KY. COUNTIES (TWO (2) IN MARTIN COUNTY, ONE (1) CARTER COUNTY, AND ONE (1) IN JEFFERSON COUNTY).
THE NUMBER OF INMATES THAT WERE BEING HOUSED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY, IN JOHNSON COUNTY, ON THURSDAY, JUNE 6, AT 6:00 P.M., WAS 200 (AND HAD BEEN AS HIGH AS 227 IN THE MID-JUNE).THE MAXIMUM DESIGNATED CAPACITY OF THE BSRDC FACILITY IS 225.

Russell L. Pack, 33, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 15, 2023, at 10:56 P.M., by trooper the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • POSSESS MATTER PORTRAY SEXUAL PERFORMANCE BY MINOR UNDER/12 (20 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS).
Timothy S. Harper, 22, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 16, 2023, at 5:12 P.M., byLawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING.
Dustin Ray Young, 37, of Denton, Kentucky; was arrested on June 16, 2023, at 10:48 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with via a grand jury indictment: • FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT.
Adrianna Salyer, 21, of Inez,Kentucky; was arrested on June 16,2023,at 11:48 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL .08 (189A.010(1A) – 1ST OFFENSE, • POSSESSION OF OPEN ALCOHOL BEVERAGE CONTAINER IN MOTOR VEHICLE PROHIBITED, • BRIBERY OF A PUBLIC SERVANT.

Amy Fugett, 38, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on July 17, 2023, at 10:48 P.M., by sergeant Steven Wilburn,of the Louisa Police Department,& was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY, • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY), • RESISTING ARREST.
Thornton Goble, 60, of Louisa, Kentucky; was taken into custody on June 19, 2023, at 10:00 A.M.,by the Lawrence County Sheriff Office,to serve a guilty plea jail sentence, “weekender”: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/ SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
Brian Allen Chapman, 32, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 20, 2023, at 1:08 P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with via a bench court warrant: • CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-2ND DEGREE, • ARSON 2ND DEGREE.
Windy Reaper, 48, of Grayson, Kentucky;was served on June 20, 2023, at 12:42 P.M.,at the Lawrence County Judicial Center,by court security officer Melody Salyers, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with via a grand jury indictment: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER INFLUENCE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA BUY/ POSSESS, • FAILURE TO APPEAR, • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT, • FAILURE TO NOTIFY ADDRESS CHANGE TO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
Windy Reaper was originally arrested on June 11, 2023, at 5:46 P.M., by deputy Evan M. Knipp, of the Carter County Sheriff Office; on the Lawrence County indictment warrant,& also a Carter County indictment warrant on a nearly similar but larger number of charges; & whereupon soon thereafter on she was transported from the Carter County Detention Center in Grayson, and taken to and lodged the BSRDC in Paintsville, where she remains since being booked on June 13, 2023, at 2:34 P.M.
Melissa Danielle Wolford, 35, of Louisa, KY., taken to and lodged the BSRDC in Paintsville, and was booked on June 21, 2023, at 1:06 P.M., and was charged with via a grand jury indictment: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $1,000 < $10,000; after she was originally arrested on January 8, 2023, at 3:17 P.M.,by deputy Prince, of the Greenup County Sheriff Office,on the charge of: • LAW OF ARREST APPLICABLE TO CHILDREN; for which Melissa Wolford had been lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center in Greenup, KY., since her January 8, 2023 arrest.
Clarence J. Harless, 51, of Louisa, Kentucky;was served on June 22, 2023, at the Lawrence County Judicial Center,by court security officer Melody Salyers, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with via a grand jury indictment warrant; as such since Clarence Harless has been lodged in the BSRDC in Paintsville since being arrested on June 8, 2023, on a separate Lawrence County indictment.
John Alan Nelson, 36, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 22, 2023, at 1:35 P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • VIOLATION OF KENTUCKY EPO/DVO ORDER.
Brian Carter, 44, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on June 22, 2023, at 8:17 P.M., by deputy Tyler Laney, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
