OUT OF THOSE 132 ARRESTS, 28 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. 
SEPARATELY, THERE WERE FOUR (4) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN OTHER KY. COUNTIES (TWO (2) IN MARTIN COUNTY, ONE (1) CARTER COUNTY, AND ONE (1) IN JEFFERSON COUNTY).
PREVIOUSLY; FROM 12:00 A.M., MAY 14,2023, THRU TO 11:59 P.M., MAY 31,2023, (18 DAYS); AT LEAST 124 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES, & OTHER COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY., IN JOHNSON COUNTY. OUT OF THOSE 124 ARRESTS, 21 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. SEPARATELY, THERE WERE NINE (9) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN OTHER KY. Brandie Hale, 37, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 1, 2023, at 4:37 A.M., by patrolman officer Michael Housinger, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.


Virgie Scott, 52, of Debord, Kentucky; was arrested on June 2, 2023, at 1:46 A.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.


Jamey L. McKinster, 42, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 2, 2023, at 1:58 A.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with via a grand jury indictment: •POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED,•PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE.

Melvin Garner Harmon Jr., 32, of Webbville,Kentucky; was arrested on June 3,2023, at 7:47 P.M., by deuty Tyler Laney, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE, • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE, • FAILURE TO APPEAR (3 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS).


Larry J. The two Contempt of Court bench warrants were from out of Carter County, KY.
