PREVIOUSLY, FROM 12:01 A.M., JUNE 25 THRU TO 11:59 P.M. JULY 2, (8 DAYS) THERE HAVE BEEN AT LEAST 76 PEOPLE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON,LAWRENCE,MAGOFFIN,& MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE. 15 OF THOSE ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. SEPARATELY, 4 LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES (2 IN BOYD COUNTY, AND 2 IN JOHNSON COUNTY).
