OUT OF THOSE 98 ARRESTS, 17 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.
SEPARATELY, THREE (3) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER COUNTIES JURISDICTIONS (ONE (1)) IN MARTIN COUNTY; ONE (1) IN CARTER COUNTY; & ONE (1) WAS IN MAGOFFIN COUNTY).
PREVIOUSLY, FROM 12:00 A.M., JUNE 20,2022,THRU TO 11:59 P.M.,JUNE 30,2022, (11 DAYS); AT LEAST 67 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY.,IN JOHNSON COUNTY. OUT OF THOSE 67 ARRESTS,16 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.
SEPARATELY, THREE (3) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER COUNTIES JURISDICTIONS (ONE (1)) IN MARTIN COUNTY; & TWO (2) WAS IN JOHNSON COUNTY).

Everetta Toppins, 45, of Barboursville, West Virginia; was arrested on July 2, 2022, at 3:46 P.M.,by deputy Julius Musick, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL .08 (189A.010(1A) – 1ST OFFENSE.
Carrie L. Cothron, 45, of Ashland, Kentucky; was arrested on July 2, 2022, at 5:15 P.M., by trooper William Galloway,of the Kentucky State Police, & was charged with:
- FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR.
Devon Perry, 25,of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on July 3,2022,at 11:36 P.M.,by deputy Tyler Laney, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

Jeffrey A. Looney, 25, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on July 3, 2022, at 11:36 P.M.,by deputy Tyler Laney, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

Ashley Maynard, 32, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on July 6, 2022, at 3:31 P.M., by officer Amber Cross, of the Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole, and was charged with:
• PROBATION VIOLATION (TECHNICAL VIOLATION).

Adam Howell, 47, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on July 6, 2022,at 8:25 P.M.,by patrolman officer Teddy B. Newsome, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.
Kristopher J. Miller, 21, of Calhoun,Kentucky;was arrested on July 7, 2022,at 5:56 A.M.,by an officer of the Louisa Police Department,& was charged with:
• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE)
Cassandra Whitt, 30, of Kermit,West Virginia;was arrested on July 7, 2022,at 2:41 P.M.,by an officer of the Louisa Police Department,was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR. The Failure to Appear warrant for Cassandra Whitt was from out of Pike County, KY. Cassandra Whitt was subsequently transferred from the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, KY. in Johnson County, to the Pike County Detention Center in Pikeville, KY.,and was booked on July 7, 2022, at 7:09 P.M., and her bond was set at $500 full cash only.
Brianna S. Diamond, 36, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on July 8, 2022, at 8:46 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne,of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department,& was charged with:

Jasmine Mullins, 35, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on July 14, 2022, at 1:01 P.M., at the Lawrence County Judicial Center,by court security officer Melody Salyers,of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, & was charged with via a grand jury indictment warrant:
• RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY $10,000 OR MORE,
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OFFENSE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.
The grand jury indictment of Jasmine Mullins was from Boyd County, Kentucky; with both of the above charges stemming from the arrest of Jasmine Mullins by the Ashland Police Department on June 14, 2020.
