FROM 12:00 A.M., FEBRUARY 1, 2022, THRU TO 11:59 P.M., FEBRUARY 13, 2022, (15 DAYS); AT LEAST 103 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY., IN JOHNSON COUNTY.

OUT OF THOSE 103 ARRESTS, 27 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

SEPARATELY, THERE WERE FIVE LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN SIX OTHER KY. COUNTIES (ONE (1) IN BOYD COUNTY, ONE (1) IN JOHNSON COUNTY, ONE (1) IN PIKE COUNTY, ONE (1) IN ROWAN COUNTY & ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, AND ONE (1) IN WARRNT COUNTY).

PREVIOUSLY, FROM 12:00 A.M., FEBRUARY 1, 2022, THRU TO 11:59 P.M., FEBRUARY 13, 2022, (13 DAYS); AT LEAST 112 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY., IN JOHNSON COUNTY. OUT OF THOSE 112 ARRESTS, 25 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

Bridgett Hopkins, 32, of Crab Orchard, Kentucky; was arrested on February 14, 2023, at 4:23 P.M., by the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR.

Bobby Spurlock, 23, of Batavia, Ohio; was arrested on February 15, 2023, at 2:13 A.M.,by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, & was charged with:

• FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS),
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,
• PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER II.

Michael Campbell, 40, of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; was arrested on February 15, 2023, at 5:07 A.M., by the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, & was charged with:

Steven R. Smith, 36, of Tram, Kentucky; was arrested on February 15, 2023, at 5:18 A.M., by trooper Zachary Wright of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

Jeffrey Perry, 49, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on February 15, 2023, at 10:00 A.M., by sergeant-chief deputy Mason Keefer, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, & was charged with via a bench court warrant:

Jason T. Pack, 39, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on February 16, 2023, at 3:14 A.M., by deputy Joseph Osbourne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with via a bench court warrant:

Corbin James Fairchild, 21, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on February 16, 2023, at 9:49 P.M., by deputy Travis Music, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, & was charged with:

•  SPEEDING 11 MPH OVER LIMIT,

Amber L. Mitchell, 36, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on February 17, 2023, at 1:20 P.M., by deputy Travis Music, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:

Dale E. Bowen, 46, of Leander, Kentucky; was arrested on February 18, 2023, at 10:51 P.M., by deputy Travis Music, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and patrolman officer Teddy B. Newsone,of the Louisa Police Department,& was charged with:

Eric C. Mosley, 50, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on February 19, 2023, at 9:08 P.M., by deputy Travis Music, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, & was charged with via three grand jury indictments:

•  BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS),
•  POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON,
•  CULTIVATE IN MARIJUANA (5 PLANTS OR MORE) 1ST OFFENSE,

Paul S. Hackney, 40, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on February 22, 2023, at 9:15 A.M.,at the Lawrence County Judicial Center, by court security officer Melody Salyers, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with via a grand jury indictment:

• ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIME.

Donald L. Pack, 44, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on February 23, 2023, at 12:26 P.M., by deputy Tyler Laney, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:

Donnie K. Harris, 42, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on February 23, 2023, at 1:49 P.M., by the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:

Christopher W. Ratliff, 43, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on February 23, 2023, at 6:41 P.M., by deputy Travis Music, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, & was charged with:

•  FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 1ST DEGREE (ON FOOT); and via a Martin County, KY. grand jury indictment:

Gary Issac Hogston, 43, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on February 24, 2023, at 9:16 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:

• FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED. The fugitive warrant for Gary Hogston was from out of Buchanan County, Virginia.

Cheyenne Moles, 43, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on February 24, 2023, at 9:16 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN).

Clarence J Harless, 51, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on February 25, 2023, at 5:37 A.M., by patrolman officer Teddy B. Newsome,of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

Billy J. Howard, 56, of Sitka, Kentucky; was arrested on February 26, 2023, at 9:00 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:
