FROM 12:00 A.M., DECEMBER 20, 2021, THRU TO 11:59 P.M.,DECEMBER 31,2021, (12 DAYS); AT LEAST 98 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, AND MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE.
OUT OF THOSE 98 ARRESTS, 18 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.
SEPARATELY, THREE (3) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENT WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER NEIGHBORING COUNTIES JURISDICTIONS (TWO (2) IN MARTIN COUNTY, AND ONE (1) IN JOHNSON COUNTY).
PREVIOUSLY, FROM 12:00 A.M., DECEMBER 9, 2021, THRU TO 11:59 P.M. DECEMBER 19, 2021, (11 DAYS); AT LEAST 92 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, AND MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE. OUT OF THOSE 92 ARRESTS, 22 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. SEPARATELY, FOUR (4) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER NEIGHBORING COUNTIES JURISDICTIONS (TWO (2) IN MARTIN COUNTY, AND ONE (1) IN JOHNSON COUNTY).
AT 11:59 P.M., SATURDAY, JANUARY 1, 2021, THERE WERE 240 INMATES LODGED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KENTUCKY. AT THE START OF THE WEEK, THERE WERE NEARLY 255 INMATES BEING HOUSED AT THE BSRDC. THE ‘MAXIMUM DESIGNATED CAPACITY’ OF THE BSRDC IS FOR 225 INMATES.

George E. Moore, 55, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on December 20, 2021, at 7:50 P.M., by patrolman officer Jeffrey Chase Kirk, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR.
Gary Lee Clay, 61, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on December 20, 2021, at 7:51 P.M., by patrolman officer Jeffrey Chase Kirk, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Jamey L. McKinster, 41, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on December 17, 2021, at 10:45 P.M., by patrolman officer Jeffrey Chase Kirk, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • FAILURE TO APPEAR (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS).

Kelly Adkins-Frazier, 29, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on December 22, 2021, at 9:17 P.M.,by an officer of the Louisa Police Department,& was charged with:• FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Jason Maynard, 29, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested on December 23,2021, at 12:32 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department,& was charged with:• FAILURE TO APPEAR. The Failure To Appear charge was from a warrant from out of Boyd County, KY.
Jason Maynard was transferred from the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville in Johnson County, KY., and he was taken to the Boyd County Detention Center in Catlettsburg in Boyd County, KY., on December 29, 2021; where upon ordered by a judge to stay in the jail, or pay $660 full cash in order to be released.

Cody Ryan Morgan, 29, of Louisa, Kentucky; was transported to Grant County, KY., and booked at the Grant County Detention center on December 22, 2021,at 12:36 P.M., after he was originally arrested by the Louisa Police Department, on a court bench warrant from Grant County, on the charge of: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
