OUT OF THOSE 148 ARRESTS, 26 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

SEPARATELY, THERE WERE SEVEN (7) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN OTHER KY. COUNTIES: (TWO (2) IN MARTIN COUNTY, FOUR (4) IN JOHNSON COUNTY, AND ONE (1) WHO WAS ARRESTED IN FAYETTE COUNTY; WHO WAS BROUGHT TO THE REGIONAL JAIL IN LEE COUNTY, KY., ON WARRANTS FROM PERRY COUNTY ).

PREVIOUSLY; FROM 12:00 A.M.,JULY 14,2023, THRU TO 11:59 P.M., JULY 31,2023, (18 DAYS); AT LEAST 131 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES, & OTHER COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY., IN JOHNSON COUNTY. OUT OF THOSE 131 ARRESTS, 22 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. ALSO, AN ARREST WAS MISSED THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE PREVIOUS ARREST LIST, ON JULY 13. SEPARATELY, THERE WERE TWO (4) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN OTHER KY. COUNTIES (TWO (2) IN MARTIN COUNTY, ONE (1) IN JOHNSON COUNTY, AND ONE (1) IN CLAY COUNTY; WHO WAS BROUGHT BACK TO THE BSRDC IN PAINTSVILLE ON WARRANTS FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY ).

THE NUMBER OF INMATES THAT WERE BEING HOUSED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY, IN JOHNSON COUNTY, ON SATURDAY,AUGUST 19, AT 8:00 P.M., WAS 208. THE MAXIMUM DESIGNATED CAPACITY OF THE BSRDC FACILITY IS 225.

Knipp, of the Carter County Sheriff Office; & whereupon she was transported to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, KY., and was booked and lodged in the BSRDC on August 1, 2023, at 4:57 P.M.,to serve a guilty plea jail sentence, “weekender”:
