LOUISA MAN ARRESTED IN JOHNSON COUNTY OM LAWRENCE CO. METH INDICTMENT, ALSO SENT TO PIKE CO. ON NO-SHOW COURT APPEARANCE CHARGE

Seven Lawrence County residents were arrested on 8 criminal offenses in neighboring counties. Three were in Johnson County, two were in Boyd County, two in Martin County, and one in Pike County.
The names and criminal charges of those 7 Lawrence County individuals arrested outside the Lawrence County border lines are the following:
Tommy Lee Cantrell, 51, of Louisa, was arrested in Boyd County on August 13, 2018, at 11:35 P.M., by an officer of the Ashland Police Department, and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR,
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,
• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT,
• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,
• DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE -1ST OFFENSE.
Tommy Lee Cantrell’s bail bond for the FAILURE TO APPEAR charge was set at $2,500 full cash. There were no bail bond set for the other 5 charges.
Karen E. Wood, 50, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County on August 14, 2018, at 3:35 P.M., by a deputy of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
Charles E. Burns, 36, of Louisa, was arrested in Boyd County on August 15, 2018, at 11:26 P.M., by an officer of the Ashland Police Department, and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR (3 SEPARATE COUNTS CHARGES).
Todd Coverdale, 52, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County on August 16, 2018, at 5:15 P.M., by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with, via a Lawrence County grand jury indictment:
• ASSAULT, 2ND DEGREE,
• MENACING.
Todd Coverdale posted his bail bond within a few hours, on the same day later that Thursday evening, after being lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville.
Christopher Ratliff, 37, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County on August 20, 2018, at 2:16 P.M., by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with, via a Lawrence County grand jury indictment:
• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (> 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE).
Gregory Marcum, 59, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County on August 14, 2018, at 3:35 P.M., by Sheriff John. H. Kirk of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) 4TH OR > OFFENSE,
• OPERATING ATV ON ROADWAY.
James Robert Isaac, 56, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County on August 21, 2018, at 12:25 P.M., by deputy James Wright, of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/ INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) 4TH OR > OFFENSE,
• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,
• OPERATING ATV ON ROADWAY,
• POSSESSION OF OPEN ALCOHOL BEVERAGE CONTAINER IN MOTOR VEHICLE PROHIBITED.
Christopher W. Ratliff, 38, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County on August 20, 2018, at 2:16 P.M., by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with, via a Lawrence County grand jury indictment; was transferred to Pike County on August 21, 2018, at 6:08 P.M., by deputy Finas Akers, of the Pike County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Ratliff was arraigned in court and was denied bond, and was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center in Pikeville.
