The Bulldogs knocked off the Barboursville Pirates on the road in convincing fashion.

On the opening drive, Korbyn Dawson forced a fumble and Greyson Blevins recovered it to set the Dawgs up in Pirate territory and Colton Bentley wasted no time racing in from 39 yards out for the opening points of the game.

After a 3 and out, Tyson Muncy took the handoff and scored from 6 yards out and Eli Block added the two point conversion pass to make the score 14-0 early in the 2nd quarter.

After a 4th down Greyson Blevins and Waylon Raines QB sack, the Dawgs would take over on downs.

Block capped off the long drive with a 7 yard touchdown run to bring the score to 20-0.

On the last play of the 1st half, Zayne Powell hits the quarterback, causing the ball to go flying up in the air, in which Ryder Endicott intercepts the ball and runs it back 40 yards for the touchdown and Bentley added the two point conversion to bring the score 28-0 at the half.

The Dawgs took the opening drive of the 2nd half and scored when Bentley rushed in from 65 yards out to set the final score of 34-0.

The C-Team will travel to Buffalo-Wayne Saturday at 11:30 to face the Ona-Milton Panthers with a trip to the Turf Bowl on the line.

The Bulldogs took care of the Pirates in a hard fought game just like last year’s semifinal game at Wayne. This year was no different between these two teams.

Tucker Muncy found Brayson Raines on an 18 yard touchdown pass to open the scoring for a 6-0 lead.

Raines fell on a fumble on the opening drive of the second half, but the bulldogs were unable to capitalize.

The Pirates would strike next on a long touchdown pass to make the score 6-6.

On a crucial 4th and 1 play, Blaine Williams and Titus Botkins came up with a HUGE tackle for a loss to give the Bulldogs the ball.

Muncy found Raines on a 10 yard touchdown pass and Lucas Block added the 2 point conversion to set the final score of 14-6. The Bulldogs defense held strong the final 4 minutes of the game.

The B-Team will travel to Buffalo-Wayne Saturday at 12:45 to face the Ona-Milton Panthers with a trip to the Turf Bowl on the line.

Jace Napier heads up field during the A-Team game.

In the last game of the day the Dawgs rolled past the Express.

After a scoreless 1st period the Bulldogs got on the board when Carson Evans raced 88 yards for a touchdown.

On the next drive Evans hit Levi Hensley for a 51 yard touchdown and then added the two point conversion for a 14-0 lead.

Lincoln Parsley recovered a fumble to set the Dawgs up with nice field position and Evans once again connected with Hensley this time for 18 yards and then added the two point conversion to make it 22-0.

Hensley started the 2nd half with a 63 yard touchdown run and Evans added to the two to bring the score to 30-0.

Evans added a 32 yard touchdown run and Jayce Napier added the two point conversion to make the score 38-0.

DC added a late touchdown to set the final score at 38-6.

The Bulldogs will travel to Buffalo-Wayne Saturday at 2:00 for a semifinal match up against Ashland with a trip to the Turf Bowl on the line.
