The Lawrence County Fiscal Court held a Regular Scheduled Monthly Meeting on Tuesday July 16, 2024 at the Lawrence County Courthouse, 2nd Floor, 122 S. Main Cross, Louisa, Kentucky 41230 at 10AM.

LC Judge Executive Phil Carter was in attendance along with LC Magistrates David Pinson, Rick Blackburn, Michael (Mouse) Halcomb and John Scaggs.

MINUTES APPROVED
The LC Fiscal Court approved minutes unanimously for June 18, 26, and 28.

APPROVE TREASURERS REPORT AND BILLS
LC Treasurer Josh Puckett said, “The county is in the black.” Motion to approve Treasurers Report by John Scaggs 2nd by Michael Mouse Halcomb. None Opposed. There was No Treasurers Requests. Bills were approved for $298,000. Puckett said, “A large amount of the funds are for projects.” Motion to approve bills by Rick Blackburn 2nd by David Pinson.

APPROVE SPAY AND NEUTER GRANT
The LC Fiscal Court donated $1100 to Spay and Neuter Grant FY 2024-2025 that is matching. Motion by Rick Blackburn 2nd by Michael Mouse Halcomb. None Opposed.

APPOINTED TO FIRE BOARD
LC Judge Executive Phil Carter appointed Matt Blackburn to the LC Fire Board.
Motion by David Pinson 2nd by Rick Blackburn. None Opposed.
