Fort Gay, W.Va. — Lawrence Co. Youth Football League went 4-0 against Tolsia on Saturday at Wilts Salmons Athletic Complex.

In the first game of the day the Bulldogs shutout the Rebels.
Lawrence Co. defensive lineman Blake Lemaster went 60 yards with a fumble recovery and Noah Young added the two conversion 2 point and the Dawgs led 8-0 with 4:35 left in the first quarter.

In the second quarter Young scooted 72 yards for a touchdown and it was 14-0 Lawrence Co. with 7:14 left in the first half.
Young set the final score of 20-0 on a 93 yard touchdown with 1:09 left in the game.
Kolt Ratcliffe and Brantley Spears recovered fumbles for the Rebels.

In the second game of the day it was the Bulldogs cruising to victory after a slow start.
Colton Bentley hit Tyson Muncy for a 17 yard TD for the first points of the game and it was Lawrence Co. 6-0 with 6:06 left in the first half.
Bentley raced in from 39 yards out to make it 12-0 with 1:07 to go before half.
After recovering a Rebel fumble Muncy scored on a 15 yard touchdown run with :18 left in the half and it was 18-0 Bulldogs.
Bentley closed out the scoring on a 34 yard touchdown run for Lawrence Co. to make it 24-0.
Debo Black recovered a fumble and had 13 tackles for the Rebels.

In the third game of the day the Bulldogs took care of the Rebels.
#10 Lucas Block takes the shotgun snap versus Tolsia Saturday.
Lucas Block went 65 yards for TD and Tucker Muncy found Brayson Raines for the two point conversion and it was 8-0 Lawrence Co. in the first period.
Muncy hit Block for a nice 18 yard touchdown strike and it was 14-0 Bulldogs.
In the Second Quarter Block raced in from 60 yards out and Jaxon Chafin added the two point conversion and it was 22-0 Lawrence Co. with 6:31 left in the half.
Chafin raced in from 63 yards out and Tucker Dixon tacked on the two point conversion and it was 28-0 Lawrence Co. with 2:55 in the first half.
Jesse Allen got the Rebels on the scoreboard with a nifty 63 yard touchdown run and then added the two point conversion run with 5:52 left in the third quarter to cut the Bulldog lead to 28-8.
Chafin added a 4 yard touchdown run to make it 34-8 with 6:35 left in the game.
Kristian Johnson set the final score of 40-8 with a 55 yard touchdown run late in the fourth period.
Lawrence Co. 14 Tolsia 6 ( A Team )
#22 Carson Evans hands off to #23 Keagan Muncy during the A team game on Saturday.
In the final game of the day and also the best game of the day the Dawgs outlasted the Rebels to complete the sweep.
Keagan Muncy scored from 3 yards out to give the Bulldogs a 6-0 lead with 4:29 left in the first quarter.

Tolsia’s Jameson Evans went 70 yards for a touchdown to knot the score at 6 apiece with 3:32 left in the first period.
In the second quarter Lawrence Co. QB Carson Evans scored from 17 yards out and Levi Hensley added the two point conversion and the Dawgs lead 14-6 with 2:45 to go before half.
In the second half both defenses were stout and each team made big plays to limit the offense and the final score was 14-6.
Lincoln Parsley had a fumble recovery for the Bulldogs.
Braxton Salmons and Mason Stumbo had interceptions and Jameson Evans had a fumble recovery for the Rebels.
Next Saturday Lawrence Co. will host the Wayne Pioneers and Tolsia will host the D-C Express. Games starting at 10:00 AM.
