Lawrence Co. looks to get back on track against Harlan Co. in the Lawrence County Farm Bureau Bowl

Louisa, Ky Coming off a much needed bye week the Lawrence Co. Bulldogs will host the Harlan Co. Black Bears Friday for Homecoming in the Lawrence County Farm Bureau Bowl. 

Sophomore Ty Brooks has been a menace on defense and made the transition to offensive line smooth as well.

The Bulldogs are 2-1 on the year after falling to Perry Co. Central 35-21 two weeks ago on the road. Lawrence Co. opened the year with wins over Rowan Co. and Shelby Valley. 

The Dawgs are really banged up and have lost some key people to injuries and will be looking for some new players to step up. 

Quarterback Luke Fetherolf has completed 33 of 58 passes for 426 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. Fetherolf has rushed for 211 yards on 15 attempts and scored 2 touchdowns. 

Running back Kaden Johnson has scored 5 touchdowns on the season and has rushed for 181 yards and caught 12 passes for another 69 yards. Caven Williams who missed the last game has rushed for team leading 269 yards and scored 4 times on the ground. 

Gray Derifield is the teams leading receiver yardage wise with 115 on 6 catches and 1 touchdown, Carlo Chicko has caught 7 passes for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns in only two games this year, Andrew Ratcliffe has 4 receptions for 47 yards and Braxton Davis has hauled in 3 passes for 40 yards. 

Kicker Brayden Queen has made 12 of 13 extra point attempts this season. 

On defense Fetherolf, Davis and Johnson have picked off one pass each, Johnson along with Derifield and Josh Spillman have one fumble recovery each. 

Colin Howard is the teams leading tackler with 14 and QB sacks as well with 2, Fletcher has 13 tackles, Caden Thompson has 11 tackles, Chandler Preece has 10, Ty Brooks has 9 tackles and 1 QB sack, Ratcliffe has 9 tackles as well. 

The Black Bears are 1-2 on the year after opening the season with a win over Middlesboro they have dropped two straight contest to Hazard and Whitley County.
