Louisa, Ky. — Eleven new members were inducted into the Lawrence Co. High school Hall of Fame on Friday during a ceremony in the school cafeteria.

The Hall of Fame inductees had a ceremony before the games on Friday and then were introduced in between the Girls and Boys victories over Prestonsburg.

This class is really top notch from top to bottom and shows the talent that has come through Lawrence Co. throughout the years.

Member of the HOF Committee Travis Feltner

“… It was a very special night. We inducted 11 all time greats not only in LCHS school history but the history of our county.”

“… I have had the fortunate opportunity to work with or coach some of the guys put it in – Coach Randy Keeton, Steven Blevins and Spencer Harris are two of the greatest to ever play baseball here and both have decorated careers post high school.”

“… Dontae Wright and Michael West are certainly two of the best to ever play football here.”

“… Jennifer Vansickle- until this process I was not aware of her and all of her accomplishments and my goodness what a decorated career she has had. Paving the way for many female athletes to have the opportunities they have today.”

“… Bulldog Vanhoose going in was a special moment for many. Perhaps no one in the history of our county has more widespread fame than Bulldog himself.”

“… And then the 4 gentlemen from Blaine HS. Hearing the stories from Coach Sam Sparks and then getting the opportunity to meet those guys — it was a very special moment. Very emotional night for those guys and their families.”
