COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Against Paintsville we were able to move the ball and get our players going forward. We looked really sharp in front of a big home crowd. I was very pleased with how we opened the season up.”
“… Against East Carter we knew it would be a more difficult game. We knew we would be facing last season’s state scoring champion (72 goals from Taylor Hall) and our game plan was to not let one player beat us. Our defense forced them into bad shots and our offense was there in the opening seconds to give us the lead and never look back. This was an absolute team effort to go there and come away with a 10-0 win! I couldn’t be more proud of the girls and how they are playing this early in the season.”
