LOUISA, KY. — On behalf of the Lawrence County Fair Board we would like to say THANK YOU for our community support.
The Lawrence County Fair has started strong! We had record turn out for our pickleball, motorcross, and pageant. Without our community support through sponsorship, attendance, and being patient with us as we continue to grow it would not be as successful. If you missed out this weekend we look forward to seeing you next weekend at the livestock shows, horseshows, or the many events Saturday including the rodeo. To see a full list and times visit our facebook page or website.
The fair started, Saturday July 20th 8am, at the Lawrence County Tennis Courts, with the second annual Pickleball Tournament and the Hilltop Motorcross Track.
Pickleball hosted 37 teams in multiple categories with each being separated by experience level. This was an amazing addition to the fair last year on a recommendation by fair board member Mary Adams.
