Lawrence Co. Head Coach Chandler Thompson

COACH’S COMMENTS

“…Great week in Charleston SC this week for our team. Our record didn’t go the way we wanted it to but we played some really good teams and overall competed really well.

Day 1 we played a solid Bishop England team that has given us trouble in the past. We were able to pull out the win against them on their home court.

Day 2 we played Hopewell NC. A very big school that is 10-0 and had a chance to beat them. Came up a little short but overall played really well. Lastly, we played Archbishop Alter out of Ohio. They have 3 division 1 players, one going NC State, one going to Wright State, and another that is undecided. We battled well with them in the first half, down 5 at halftime. They had a strong second half and we didn’t shoot the ball particularly well that half and it allowed them to open the game up on us.

“…Undoubtedly, somewhere down the road this trip will make us better. The team was able to create a lot of memories and get better in the process. That’s about all you can ask for!”
