COACH’S COMMENTS

“… We had a good week going 4-1 this week and really should have went undefeated. I like where our bats are at this point in the season. This week we went against good pitching and subpar pitching and I thought we handled it the right way all week.”

“… Addalyn Woods catching against Lewis Co. gives us another option. We are a different team when she is back there even though we had to move a few people around. It does put Bree ( Jones ) back in her natural spot in centerfield.”

“… We have battled some injuries this year with Woods and Jones. But kinda been a blessing now because we have had to move people around and play in different positions throughout the year. We know when it gets into the postseason you can’t give up extra bases and we know with Woods back there she gives us an advantage and that’s not a knock on anyone.”

“… This weekend is obviously a big deal for all of us and anything that we can do to say thanks and acknowledge the important women in their lives that have given them the opportunity to play. Coaches and sportswriters are the same way that have had mothers that have propped us up it is good to have a day that we can say we appreciate everything that you have done. I thought today went really well.”
