COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Back to Back District champions sounds awesome, we are so happy and excited for this. We have been working for this since back in October. What a season and to finish it with a District championship tops it off. We finally got them on a neutral court after losing twice to them in Langley. So proud of our kids, That is the best defense we played all season long. We knew who we had to shut down and we had to make them take tough shots. I thought Sophie Adkins played great and everybody else did their jobs. Overall we dug deep and came out with the victory.”
“… We struggled a little shooting but did the other stuff pretty well and that was huge. Ellie Webb didn’t shoot very well but hit some big free throws down the stretch.”
“… I don’t like to talk about her but as her coach Kensley Feltner put us on her back and willed us to victory. If we don’t have her it is tough for us to get into our offense and tough to get shots up. She get everyone around her involved and in position to score.”
“…Now it time to go make some noise at the Region Tournament next week. We are excited for another opportunity to coach these girls in a very challenging year. We can’t wait.”
