June 12, 1940 — March 29, 2025

Laura Rene Perry 84 of Blaine, Ky passed away March 29, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Laura was born June 12, 1940 in Webbville, Ky.  She was the daughter of the late Proctor (Tobitha) Cantrell.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Perry of  32 years as of his death in 1996; a daughter Renita Moore; two grandchildren Brandon Perry, and Jonathan Whitley; two great grandchildren August, and Cecily; siblings Louise (Burns O.) Wheeler, Nancy (Ernest) Cordle, Annellee Cantrell, Joseph Cantrell, Elnora (James) Price, Betty Stone, and Carolyn Thompson.

Survivors include three sons Donnie (Stephanie) Perry of Flemingsburg, Ronnie (Effie) Perry of Blaine, Adam Crawford of Blaine; three daughters Connie(Bill) McKenzie of Blaine, Bonnie Perry of Flat Gap, Rosetta(Tommy) Green of Webbville.  Grandchildren Nathan, Luke, Shaina, Leeann, Sonny, Wade, Brittany, John(Boo), Amanda, Rebeka; Great grandchildren Tieralii, Lochlyn, Everleigh, Ryker, Matthew, Audrey, Jasper, Laurel, Anthony, Ben, Braxton, Kota, Christian, Bryson, Chloe, Sonny, Piper, Amiah, Eli, Ryan, Landon, Damian, Charles, Allen, and Levi; one sister Frances (Steve) Nunn of Arizona.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Brushy Fork United Baptist Church with Frank Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Perry Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family at Brushy Fork United Baptist Church April 1, 2025 from 5:00 PM until time of service on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Perry and her family.

She was a faithful member of the Brushy Fork United Baptist Church and she was a devoted Christian for 71 years, her life was her testimony.  She was loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
