Lawrence Co. Head Coach Melinda Feltner

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Against Belfry we started out the game not as sharp as we needed to.  It’s a very tough place to play but I love how hard our girls played. I’ve told them as long as they are playing good defense and hustling their offense will come. We are still a work in progress but I like where we’re at right now.

“… Good win versus Prestonsburg I really like getting out to a 2-0 start in the district. We’ve had this game marked on our calendar all year. Still we struggled at times and turned the ball over way too many times but our relentless effort defensively helped us win the game tonight. Holding a team like Prestonsburg to 41 points is a good night. We are gonna keep working on ourselves to continue to get better.”
