Fort Gay, W. Va. — Lawrence Co. ( 4-1 ) Lady Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season Saturday night in the Championship game of the BJM Key Player Shootout 66-37 to a very good George Washington team out of Charleston at Rebel Arena on the campus of Tolsia High school.
GW led 20-12 after one period and then outscored the Bulldogs 20-6 in the second period to take a 41-18 lead into halftime and never looked back to win the Championship.
Kendra Spaulding had 18 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs, Kelly Davis tallied 8 points, Lexi Ratliff finished with 7 points, Hannah Rucker and Kassidi Cavins scored 2 points each. LC went 3-9 from the line.

Lawrence Co. Senior Kendra Spaulding and Sophomore Lexi Ratliff both made the BJM Key Player Shootout All Tournament team.
In the first game on Saturday afternoon Tolsia and Lawrence Co. squared off in a Junior Varsity game with the Lady Rebels coming away with a 41-36 victory.
Tolsia had 8 girls sent the scorebook with Julie Boone leading the way with 10 points, Jace Litton tallied 7 points, Kenzie Young 6 points, Selena Browning 5 points, Taylor Ball and Trinity Muncy scored 4 points each, Kylea Pollinger had 3 points, Becca Castle 2 points.
Lawrence Co. had 7 girls score led by Brooke Neal with 12 points, Kyleah Ward and Kensley Feltner 6 points each, Ellie Webb 5 points, Bailee Hinkle and Ally Moore 3 points each, Annabelle Silva hit a free throw.
