Lady Dawgs clobber West Carter on Senior night; 58th District begins Monday at Floyd Central

Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence Co. ( 11-15 ) celebrated Senior night with a 73-42 victory over West Carter ( 9-17 ) on Tuesday night.

Lone LC Senior Brooke Marcum

Jada Patton poured in a game high 30 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.

Senior Brooke Marcum added 15 points and 2 rebounds, Emalynn Kitts netted 7 points and 6 rebounds, Maddison Artrip had 6 points and 6 rebounds, Gracie Woods had 6 points and 7 rebounds, Caroline See 5 points and 4 rebounds, Addison Bowens 2 points and 4 rebounds, AB Hayes 2 points and 2 rebounds. 

The Bulldogs knocked down 5 three pointers and went 12 of 16 from the free throw line. 

Tug Valley 65 Lawrence Co. 43 ( Thursday ) 

The Dawgs closed out the regular season with a home loss against the #2 class A team in West Virginia.

Senior Brooke Marcum finished with 14 points and 7 rebounds.

Maddison Artrip hit 3 three pointers and tallied 9 points, Jada Patton scored 7 points and pulled down 7 rebounds, Gracie Woods added 6 points, Emalynn Kitts netted 4 points and Jenna Murphy chipped in with 3 points. 

Lawrence Co. hit 6 three pointers and went 7 of 12 from the free throw line. 

The Lady Dawgs ( 11-15 ) will open the postseason at Floyd Central ( 20-6 ) on Monday at 6:00.
