LADY DAWGS PICK UP TWO WINS BEFORE BEGINNING POSTSEASON PLAY TONIGHT AT HOME
Louisa, The Lady Dawgs closed out the regular season with two impressive victories last week over East Carter and Belfry at home to improve to 24-9 this year.

In an absolute slugfest the Lady Bulldogs beat the Lady Raiders behind Abby Fletcher who had 4 hits including a Home Run,
Mackenzie Methax also homered and Ashley Hayes went 5 and 2/3 innings in the circle and also had 3 hits. Halli Caudill had 3 hits and scored 3 times, Kassidy Cavins tripled and finished with 3 hits, Lillian Kinser had 3 hits and scored 3 runs, Amber Triplett singled and scored 1 run, Kensley Feltner scored 3 runs.
7th Grader Shelbie Blevins was the winning pitcher for the Lady Bulldogs.

In a game shortened by rain the Lady Dawgs finished out the regular season with a victory over their former 60th District rival and swept the Lady Pirates .
The Lady Dawgs will start Postseason play tonight at Home with first pitch at 8:00 vs Prestonsburg ( 12-19 ) Lawrence Co. swept the Lady Blackcats in the regular season 12-1 and 15-3 with both meetings at Stonecrest in Prestonsburg.
Betsy Layne ( 3-18 ) and Floyd Central ( 11-16 ) with play the first game of the 58th District Tournament at 6:00 tonight.
The Championship game will be at 6:30 on Wednesday night at the LCHS Softball Complex.
