Lawrence Co. will play Pikeville ( 17-8 ) on Thursday at 6:30 in the 15th Region Semifinals after the Panthers routed Martin Co. 47-26 in the first game Monday.

Lawrence Co. Head Coach Melinda Feltner

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… What a battle against a very tough Paintsville team. We definitely played against one of the best players in the region and was able to get one stop on her at the end that sealed the game. We shot horribly from the free throw line and we have to do better to win the next one. We are excited to be playing Thursday. Survive and advance!”

“… We’re gonna prepare for Pikeville and give everything we have to get ourselves to the championship game.. that’s the goal.”
