KENTUCKY STATE POLICE ARREST VIRGINIA COUPLE ON FELONY MARIJUANA CHARGE AFTER TRAFFIC STOP U.S. 23 IN LAWRENCE COUNTY, KY., DRIVER WAS PULLED OVER FOR SPEEDING ONE MILE PER HOUR OVER THE SPEED LIMIT

ONE MILE OVER THE SPEED LINE…LEADS TO ONE TOKE OVER THE LINE (AND WAY MORE THAN THAT): JA’JUAN CALIS WIILIAMS, 30, & ABIGAIL M. DICKENSON, 29, BOTH FROM CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA; BOTH OF THEM CHARGED WITH TRAFFICKING MORE THAN FIVE (5) POUNDS OF MARIJUANA.
All it took for a Kentucky State Police trooper to conduct a traffic stop on an out of state man and woman was for the driver being officially clocked speeding over just one miles per hour over the speed limit.
On late Wednesday night, October 7, Kentucky State Police Post 14 Ashland trooper Zachary Wright pulled over a vehicle with Virginia license plates on U.S. 23 in the Louisa area of Lawrence County.
Two people, a white female who was the driver, and a black male who was in the passenger seat, were inside the vehicle. They were identified in the arrest citation report as Ja’Juan Calis Wiliams, 30, and Abigail M. Dickenson, 29, both of of Castlewood, Virginia; were charged after the Kentucky State Police reported discovering multiple bags of marijuana during the traffic stop on U.S. 23 in Louisa.
According to the arrest citation, a search of the vehicle uncovered three duffel bags containing vacuum-sealed raw marijuana, additional bags of marijuana buds, and marijuana vape cartridges.
Both Ja’Juan Williams and Abigail Dickenson were charged with:
• TRAFFICKING IN MARIJUANA ( > 5 LBS.) 1ST OFFENSE; a Class C felony punishable from five (5) to 10 (ten) years in state prison. Abigail Dickenson was also charged with:
• SPEEDING 01 MPH OVER LIMIT.
After being taken into custody, both individuals were transported to, booked and lodged into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Painstvile in Johnson county early Thursday morning, October 8, where they remain incarcerated.
