INVESTIGATION REVEALED TWO DEAD DOGS WERE ALSO FOUND AT THE CRIME SCENE

A Breckinridge County, KY. man was jailed early Thursday morning after state police said he was arrested after he allegedly killed two women and a man, as well as two canines, at a home in Breckinridge County.
According to a press release statement, on the night of Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at approximately 10:22 P.M. Central Standard Time, Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 4 in Elizabethtown, which is located in Hardin County, that they received a call from Breckinridge County 911 Center requesting investigative assistance from KSP Post 4, after the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office had located three deceased individuals after responding to a welfare check at a residence located on High Plains Road in Vine Grove, KY.
The preliminary investigation found two females identified as Audrey Whealan, age 77 of Vine Grove, and Michelle Whealan, age 51 of Vine Grove, deceased inside the residence located on High Plains Road. A male identified as Doss Smothers, age 58 of Vine Grove, was also found deceased on the property outside of the residence.
The three victims appeared to have received fatal injuries sustained from blunt force trauma. Two dogs were also located inside that were deceased at the residence.
Through the course of their preliminary investigation, Tyler Brett-Vincient Wehmeyer, age 28, of Vine Grove, was arrested at the residence and charged with:
*Murder, 1st Degree (3 counts),
*Tampering with Physical Evidence, and
*Cruelty to Animals 2nd Degree.
Tyler Wehmeyer was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center in Hardinsburg, KY.
KSP Detective Casey Keown, assisted by other KSP Post Troopers and Detectives, is continuing the murder investigation.

And, BTW, I am not ignoring the fact that the murders being “reported” on are horrific, but there is nothing anyone can do about that now–but this article actually could have been corrected if anyone had bothered.
