Kentucky reported 3,096 new COVID-19 cases – more than a thousand less than last Saturday – and 32 more deaths connected to the coronavirus.
Some good news: The positivity rate fell below 12% for the first time in more than week with Saturday’s coming in at 11.47%.
The 32 deaths bring the total to 3,093 since the coronavirus started last March. There were 1,631 Kentuckians hospitalized with COVID-19 with 408 in intensive care and 214 on a ventilator.
Fayette County reported 206 cases.
Kentucky has seen 324,325 cases of the coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.
